The Occasional Singers of St. Mary’s exist principally to deputize for St Mary's choir at Parish Eucharist and Evensong on a number of Sundays during the year, including the Sundays after
Christmas and Easter. The group was founded in 2006 by Karl Dorman, and from 2009-2013 was directed by Richard Halsey. The group is currently led by Nick Roberts. The Singers regularly give
concerts in St. Mary’s, including those in October 2011 and April 2013 in aid of St Mary’s Organ Fund. Please see below for more information about future events.
The Singers have a variety of choral backgrounds, and new members (whatever their experience) are always welcome. Rehearsals take place monthly, at St Mary's, usually on Sundays.
